Info:

The present GMT has a serial number 146* dating it to the end of 1966. The case is unpolished which is rare for a gold Rolex of this date, the lugs are good and thick and the new owner can have it lightly polished and chamfered if he or she desires - the option remains open. The The nipple dial is in better than average condition with some UV appearing with UV light. The bezel is in terrific condition for a watch of this age. The case back has a slight ding in the central area and the milling is worn but still enough to take the back off. It's all clearly marked with ref. serial and gold numbers in all the right places and it's ready to go. ROLEX 1675 The 1675 came out in 1959 replacing the old GMT reference 6542 famous for the bakelite bezel. Among the numerous modifications brought to the watch perhaps the most obvious one was the protective guards on either side of the winding crown - however on a few very rare early examples in yellow gold still exist without these crown guards.
